I bought the digital ones through BBing.com (much cheaper!!) and they came with a handy measuring tape. Super-easy to use, and like you say they aren't 100% reliable, but they're consistent - I rarely pay attention to the % it gives but if the numbers go up, it's bad and if they go down - woohoo!!

It keeps a log of your measurements too which is quite neat and you can track your progress really simply.

I have the slimguide ones which have a spring, so the tension is the same no matter who uses them, and no subconcious oversqueezing to fool yourself!

I got them from the states on offer. But with the weak dollar everything is on offer at the moment!

Amazon .com sell them as well (.co.uk dont sell as many) you might be better off ordering off them on account of the fact that anything from bb.com is likley to spend some time in customs

Cool yeah makes sense - so is it the Fat Track Digital Skinfold Calipers that is recommended? That the one you bought g'em? It's twice as much for the electronic one as the regular caliper - figure the electronic one might be better overall - extra features and all.

Yep, that's the one I got. I must have got them on special offer and got the measuring tape free?I like them anyway, they're handy enough.
