Virgin's site is screwy (especially with Firefox)

Try using Internet Explorer on PC, or Safari on Mac.

Yeah, they're official. I wouldn't hold up too much hope on them honouring it but it's worth a shot!

    It's £115 on HMV.co.uk!

Cheers, I need a new wireless controller - my young fella chewed a bit off the rubber on the right thumbstick of 2 of my wireless controllers and its very annoying when playing any game. Plus Forza 2 is a nice bonus.

Doubt it was that price standalone, mate.

They'd sell it for that when bought with a new XBox 360 (as they've been doing in Harvey Norman's / Virgin etc.)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,031 ✭✭✭jahalpin

Play are taking the p*ss with that price, they are selling a wireless controller for 46.49e and Forza 2 for 45.00 = 91.49e

I got that and registered again very slowly, ticking all those boxes for promotions and then logged out and logged back in again, which did the trick..

You snooze, you lose I suppose.

    Link doesn't work anymore. Bah!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,714 ✭✭✭Darwin

Funny, had one in my basket from earlier this morning and I just went through the checkout now no problems. I'm really expecting all these orders to be cancelled though. If not, thanks OP!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,170 ✭✭✭Grawns

Or they might say it's lost in the post as they did with my bomberman order at £5 including delivery. Have checked their terms and conditions

    ************************************
My order status says cancelled, what does this mean?
Unfortunately this means that the availability status of the product(s) in your order has changed after the order was placed. The item(s) will unfortunately have been withdrawn or deleted by our suppliers so we will not be able to supply them to you. We apologise for any inconvenience this will have caused.

    ******************************************

As far as I can see they detete the link and probably put it back up later at the normal price.

How do you know its been dispatched?

Has your credit card been charged or did you ring them?

Does it say you have 2 completed orders in your account on virginmegastores.com

Mine says you have you have no completed orders.

    Status In Progress
