whats the craic with the 150k on ipoker not 1 hand played and it is showing as the tourney is interrupted and players to get their money back

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,477 ✭✭✭newbie2

was just on to a manager. he said he was aware of server issues and all will be resolved shortly

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,454 ✭✭✭hf4z6sqo7vjngi

Is it still going to run??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,477 ✭✭✭newbie2

Looks like the tournament was "interrupted" and as per site policy all players will get payment.
I have to say i'm a little dissapointed with PPP. I've recently deposited a few bob into PPP to try and donk my way into the IO. I had left PPP after several server crashes the first 3 months they moved to Ipoker. Was playing on stars and the service was top notch. Never a server crsh or disconnect. As soon as I go back onto PPP - BOOM!

I'll have to donk into the IO live now......

Much value in the Sunday Million on Stars? I just won a ticket in and am of two minds whether to play or not. The head says the €215 would be better used paying into multiple smaller tournaments and of course the heart says take a shot at the big money! The only other time I played it (maybe two years ago) I won my way in via an everlasting sat (not as many turbos back in the day) and went out in the 2nd level in a flopped set-over-set sickener.

If you like deep stacked tough tourneys and playing for glory, give it a go. Other wise play 50 x $4 180 SNGs ;)

edit: There's no overlay if thats what you meant by value

everytime i play this million, im amazed at the shockingly bad standard, 80% of the field are really from a $5 stt, or at least it seems that way.
I know its a smallish buy in, and a lot of donks taking a shot, but its such a minefield, 6/9th of every time, even up to late on , and so bad its scary.

anyway, rant out, carefully trying to dodge the beats, 22,704 at first break

o/r 1600 with QJh - sb and bb call. Flop is 10 high with 2 hearts. SB makes it 3k to go. He has a good stack. I flat call to re-assess. Turn is a black J. Sb leadsr 5k Ive 7k behind push, he shows QQ and no river J or heart :(

Busted out of the $100k at the same time, made small beans.

    GL all left.

Out, terrible standard of play on the tables I was on I thought, would be nice to get a big stack early and see how it goes. GL to those left in it.

Horrible hour of poker - lost a 40k pot when I raised a limper with AQ and he called with 55 and then we got it all in on a QQ5 flop - dropped down to 8k but have squeezed back up to 26k
