    Hello peeps

I wonder does anyone know if their is a decent and more importantly a better value for money product than the maximuscle Promax diet supplement? Ive used one and couldnt believe it only lasted me about five bloody minutes, at a cost of 55 euros! Plus tastes terrible. What rip off merchants that crowd are!

    Cheers

Did you do any research on this, or just dive straight in?

My experience of supplements is fairly limited, although I do use the Promax from Maximuscle and find it fine. Tastes fine (strawberry in particular) and if you go to Nutrition Connection on Capel St on the first Saturday of the month you'll get 20% off... It's also only 48lids in there in the first place anyway if I remember correctly??

A member of this board suggested to me recently a handy way to keep the costs down by buying your own protein and Carbs and mixing them yourself and therefore getting better value...

Me, as I only take it 3-5 times a week don't mind paying full whack and generally wait til the first Sat of the month to get it...

That's my tuppence worth on the matter anyhoo...
