    Monday and Wednesday:
    30 mins of Football
    2/3 sets of 8 chin-ups
    20 Squats
    20 Crunches
    20 Push-ups

    Tuesday and Thursday:
    30 mins of Football
    1 set of 8 chin-ups
    20 Squats
    20 Crunches
    10 Push-ups
    2km jog

    Saturday and Sunday
    2/3 sets of 8 chin-ups
    20 Squats

What does anyone think of that, really just trying to get the basics. I'm 17, 10.3 stone, about 5"8/9. I eat 5/6 times a day, drink about 4-5 pints of water a day and about a litre of Supermilk.

    Hi Gavan,

It's a little repetitive tbh, I imagine your body has adapted to this level of workout out already.

Check this out for an alternative, using the exercises you currently use, but with a nice progression.

If you still like the running, do it, but time it and try to beat it rather than just going for a run. Also, mix up the distances and intervals. For example, run a 5k, or a 3k. Do some 100m sprints with a good rest in between. Run 2K but sprint/jog/walk around at various distances (100m/200m if you're on a track, lamp posts if you're outdoors)

Question of curiosity: the football you play, is it organised or just out on the road with your mates? Just that I've never seen/heard of a club training 4 nights a week for 30 minute sessions.

My jogging I use time and every time I do it I try and beat the last one, also I start off with a sprint and end with one.

Oh and the football is just in school.:D
