I am a fan of the Allen Carr method to be honest, i first gave up smoking for 7 months using the method and it seriously was as easy as eating cake. No withdrawal pangs, went straight out to the pub and clubbing and not a bother (pre smoking ban). Didnt miss them at all tbh then i stupidly decided that i'd have a smoke. I had to do some serious work to get back on to them (as mad as that sounds) but i prevailed. Stupidest thing i have ever done in my life. Tried the Allen Carr method again a few times but the most i managed was a week. the first time for me was definately alot easier.

I would say that even for someone who has already quit the Allen Carr book is definately worth a read, esp if you are having bad cravings.

now if i could only follow my own advice............
