Deadly, I'll be along for 1 or 2 of these anyway.... probably the freerolls cos i'm a cheapass!

How are this weeks tourneys going, many runners?
Thinking of heading for the Sunday double chance.

Sounds good scientist. I'm a cheap ass as well :D. Coming up to christmas i thought it'd be nice to have a few small, value oriented tourneys. Cheers for the support and looking forward to seeing you soon.

The tourneys are picking up, slowly but surely. Wednesday nights are popular for the value and I'll put out a few more calls and see if I can wrangle up a table or two for you on sunday.

    Caboose,
how is the scalp tournie going on fri nights ? between one thing or another I couldn't make it in the last couple of fri's but hopefully next fri should get in. How many runners have you been getting for this ? Cheers.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 195 ✭✭Caboose

    Hey bored

to be honest its taking a while to get going. We usually scrape two tables and the structure is often complimented with promises of bringing in more. I would say it might be quiet this weekend as everyone's migrating to Waterford :D But the lads will be here to help out and run one.

I'll be putting in a big push for the week after so I get a solid base of three or four tables to run the mini fest off.

Any probs just ring the casino and ask for Graham. 021 4222447

    Cheers mate

    is this correct ?

An event organiser actually adding to the prizepool ?

    Are you receiving sponsorship ?

wow either way congrats on putting players first........but will there be salesman trying to get you to open an ipoker skin account ?

Think the coach party will be making a detour for this defo !!

    hey Eoin

Just to clarify. The casino is adding €2,500 to the prizepools. There are no sponsors involved and if I smell a cd with a promo code around it shall be used as a coaster :D

I not only learnt my trade from Casino employees but from players as well. I would like to consider myself a poker player (albeit dead money) but I have always tried to put players first. Hence my affection for long structures and my schooling from none other than Sideshow, Kelly, And a few others who probably dont want to be mentioned. But thanks anyway guys.

So just to sum up there are no catches, no twists and you wont be asked to sign up to anyone. Well maybe at the door if you're not already a member. You can call me on this as well if you have any questions. The number of the casino is above and if I'm not working just leave a message and I will make sure I get back to you.

Cheers mate and look forward to seeing you.

    Graham

I hope to see this supported its great to see a club in its infancy making an effort to attract new players with good initiatives.
I visited recently and loved the surroundings, friendlyness and service.
Pity the place got off to a messy start under previous cr manager.
Now with rake and tourney structures sorted its a welcome addition to the cork poker scene ie. 2 nice clubs well run.

Wp Graham put me down in case your over booked (60 max I believe)

    Hey G,

Not gonna make it in tonight. Had an exam yesterday, and another one this evening, wrecked from the studying. The condition I'm in, I'd save a lot of time if I just went in, handed you the money to add to the prizepool, and fecked off home! :D I'll defo play it next month though, and I'll probably head in some night next week, maybe the scalps tourney.

    Have a good one!

dunno if anyone's still reading this but here's the update for Thursdays €150 freezeout with €1,000 added.

39 players sat down to fill a prizepool of €5850. Total prizepool is now €6850 with the added amount. Top 5 getting paid:
