So ive started my own bastardised version of a carb cycling diet that I read about online a few weeks ago, basically eating carbs as normal on training days and pretty much cutting them out as much as i can on non-training days.
Im only two weeks in so its a little early to tell if it is, or will be successful. Im trying to get to 10% BF with minimal muslce loss. (after recently putting on over a stone of mostly muscle)

Just wondering if any of you have tried this approach before and what type of results you got.

Several experienced lifters here use this

Which is sort of similar, well loading up on workout days and post workout.

I like the idea since you never go through months of deficit or forcing yourself to eat. Probably causes less strain on your metabolism too.

When I think of it I probably do carb cycle without specifically aiming for it. On "low cal" days I just eat heaps of chicken etc, since I prefer it and want to keep protein high. On "high cal" days, I eat lots of bread since it is convenient, just stick my protein meat meals in a bun. I can easily get a 1/2 sliced pan down me during a day which is around 900kcal.
