Quick acting carbs after Cardio

Whats your opinion on this guys? I dont usually do it but I've upped the intensity and started doing interval cardio and am finding it difficult to recover. I'm about to cut weight soon and am wary of taking too many carbs (as I always am). Should I be doing this? Its the one contentious area of my diet I have never been able to sort out due to hearing different theories on it, regarding glycogen depletion/restoration.

Id have to dig threw my stack of mags to get the exact measure but I recall in an issuer of flex or m&f they said that you can create an insulin spike with 3-4 scoops of whey when your low carbing it
