    Hi Guys,

A couple of weeks ago i created a post where i stated my intention to loose weight.

Well ive not been online in the interim and i just couldnt be bothered looking for my orignal post!!!:)

My update is that ive gone from 103kgs down to 95.5kgs in 7 weeks.

Im really happy with this but im still a work in progress!

Ive basically just changed my eating routines from eating complete crap to eating shed loads of fruit, veg and healthy homecooked meals. At the same time im keeping my calorie count between 1800 and 2000 a day.

I treat myself usually once a week with a completely self indulgent piece of gluttonous eating, for example today i had four slices of a toffee cake with butterscotch sauce, mmmmmmm 1600 calories in one sitting!!

Ive done minimal exercise in this time but i will be doing more and more in the coming weeks as my weight loss has gone from loosing 1-1.5 kgs in a week to loosing just .5 in the last two weeks, so i really see it slowing down.

Anyway, thats my update for anyone who cares!

PS: Stretch marks on the ass really are a pain in the ass!!

Great progress and keep it up.

Remember anyone can make good progress initally so its now that really counts i.e. gluttonous eating is not an option unless you are training a lot more

Well done on thr loss so far but I have to say that the above quote looks to me like your not learning anything at all about nutrition on your journey.

Did you really need 4 slices?

It's a cheat day/meal, the fact that he has one doesn't mean that he hasn't learned anything about nutrition!!

Well done on the weight loss so far and best of luck with keeping it up!!

Fair enough but if he/she has learned anything its not to over indulge at all. 4 Slices is a bit ridiculous plus butterscotch sauce totalling 1600/1800 cals. Plus he/she has said shes not even training. "Minimal exercise" was the phrase used.

Way OTT for a cheat imo, especially where there doesn't seem to be any training going on.

    They've lost almost 8kg in 7 weeks.

Whatever they're doing seems to be working quite well. Would you not agree?

Yes I would agree they are doing well. My point is having a cheat day like that doesnt instill me with confidence for keeping weight lost off long term.

As far as I can see the OP hasn't learned that 4 slices of toffee cake is baddddd cheat day or not. That to me is diff between success and failure. IMO though.

Congrats on the weightloss to date, 0.5kg is actually a good sustainable amount of weight to be losing.

Bio-oil is great for stretch marks

On the cheat meal, well from the sounds of it your diet is a lot better than before, just keep at it if your weightloss plateaus then it may be time to look at the frequency and size of your cheat meals. Though in my experience its actually decreases automatically as your tolerance for junk food drops.

Congrats again and keep up the good work!!

Eh yes and no, i think for some people it works best if they dive straight in and do everything all at once for others a more gradual step by step approach works best.
