Guys..looking at the scope below for my Classic Army M24..
Would I need the high scope rings on it for that scope?
The present scope is a 4-9x 50mm (not sure of the make..chinese made anyway) pic attached..if you need a clearer one let me know..but I estimate maybe 5mm at most between scope and barrel at endpoint.

Also guys I emailed Classic Army about replacement mags for my CA M24.
They gave me the name of their distributor (ASG) and I notice you're one of their retailers? Would you be able to source these for me?

It’s hard to tell if it would fit, it would be very close .The outer diameter of the front part of the Strike 3-9X56e Scope – Illuminated that we have is 66mm. If you compare that to the outer diameter of your current scope you should know if you need the high rings or not.

We can indeed source the mags for you they would be €12.99.

Thanks Liam... can you order me 3 x M24 mags please? No rush on those :)
I'm pm you my account name.

Ok..my current scope is approx 56mm which means the strike wouldn't fit with my existing scope rings. Any ideas? I have the high scope rings already (42mm) so presume I would need higher ones or else drop to a lower magnification scope :(

    Hi again.
Unfortunately if you already have high scope rings, there's not a lot you can do as we don't have any scope rings available to us with a height of more than 20mm (from the rail to the ring). I presume the height of your own is also 20mm?

yep..I think they're a height of 42mm in total.. might check around and see if I can get some..I really like that scope :)

It is a great scope, but even on eHobby and Redwolf they have no rings above 20mm in height. Do you have any method of raising the rail off the rifle, perhaps stick some padding underneath it?

Sorry to but in, but have you considered a raiser mount? Just a hunk of metal with an RIS/RAS rail on top, that connects to standard RIS/RAS rail. Should give you the clearance necessary

Oo, TK twist barrels, finally someone has them.

Any chance you'd be getting some M16 ones in?

Any chance of getting one in for a CA M24?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,478 ✭✭✭Chuck the Buck

Once again lads I've ordered stuff off ye yesterday at about 3:00pm and had the postman hammering on the door at 8:30am today for me to sign for it :D

Only way to get faster service than from airsofteire is if the other shop has a time machine and can deliver half an hour before you realised you wanted anything!

I'm not sure what the barrel length of the M24 is, if it takes a standard AEG barrel then we can more than likely get a twist barrel for it.
