BA want to ban surfboards - and Kayaks/Canoes
It alienates surfers, and it makes no sense.
It is a false economy.

Another thing is that surfboards are not like cars, you cant just rent one at the other end.
They are tailored to the user.

This means a surfer will have to have a board made on arrival (not green)
and have to dispose of it at the end of a trip- wasteful.

BA have been a progressive airline when dealing with boards - but if this goes ahead - the worlds favorite airlines customer service will be worse than many budget airlines.

BA Are a trend setter - so other Airlines will follow suit if this happens
