Right, its time to get that bit of my diet sorted:

I read all about them, know all about them, yet still do nothing. However, I train for rugby 4 nights a week, and have matches at the weekend, so its time to start looking after the joints and tissue repair.

    Please, share some experience:

    Which oils do ye take?
How do you take them? i.e. with a meal, a spoonfull, etc.
    In what quantities?
Where is best/cheap to buy them? ( Student, so Eskimo oils are a bit pricey)
    Any other info appreciated.

    Thanks.

Extra virgin olive oil - tesco - don't know the price it's cheap.

Sesame seed oil - tesco - i think it's 2.50 for 250ml which probably isn't that cheap but it's very tasty on chicken and a little amount has a strong flavour to it.

Almond oil in scrambled eggs, avocado oil as salad dressing, sesame oil for stir fry's, walnut oil on cooked veg, flax oil as salad dressing/ in protein shake (this oil can't be cooked), olive oil for general cooking.

flax oil from health food shops, but usually around €8-10 so a bit pricey. All other oils from Tesco's, would normally buy one bottle of each per month, total cost ~ €20
