Maybe this could be useful and a possible sticky.
If not, feel free to shoot me down, I don’t mind.

Andyred’s post got me thinking on this

Some but not all gyms allow members to transfer membership.
Good points might be a member can leave early and another can take over and maybe the dodge the rip-off joining fee.
Everyone wins!

Also, some gyms do deals if you can get a member to join with you. So if you want to join but your friends don’t then maybe here is a good place to try to arrange something with another poster so you sign up together.

Finally, I know most gyms have special offers every month that are going to end any second and the minute you walk out the door!!! :rolleyes:
But if someone reckons there’s an especially good deal running, maybe they post it here.
Like Bargain Alerts for members.
The gym owners here can give the usual Boards.ie discount if they want.

One sticky could do all this

Theres joining fees? Im with JJB in Limerick and there was no fee.
