    I'm in full swing now with my diet and am doing rippetoe's starting strength for the first few months.

    I'm ecto so really want to widen my waist and stomach area.

    I'm looking at weighted cruches and side bends. Can these actually increase your waist though seeing as this area is quite bony?

    As the muscle comes all over, it will also come to your waist.
