    haven't started maths

From what I have heard Frank is asking for suggestions on what to do about that. The syllabus is pretty easy in 4th year so I wouldnt worry.
Are ye are still missing a telecomms lecturer to?
JOJ has been around the department but wont be back at work till next year :(

Is communications still on the time table to?
I'm thinking of applying for the Computer/Electronics Engineering course. Any advice/info on the course? Thanks

    start here.
It seems very much like the bachelor of engineering in digital and software systems (BEDS) course. So from that I would say it has a great mix of hardware and software, with the emphasis being on embedded systems, both the development of the hardware and software for embedded systems.

If you have more specific questions start a new thread and the people from the course will try and answer them for you.

We haven't seen what the syllabus is yet so thats the most annoying thing. I wouldn't mind it as I could at least go through it myself. Right now we don't know whats the story and the only way I can see them fixing it is if they start doing double lectures during the week which sucks balls tbh.

Theres a new guy in replacing JOJ now from some company. From what I heard he seems to know his stuff but I don't think hes thought before, could be wrong about that though.

Yeah its still there we did a catch up week there last week so its not too bad. Though it was basically just to see what we knew. He did karnagh maps and stuff like that so it was pretty basic.

Currently doing first year in this course...Its a good course and overall good place to be for it.If weak at maths you may want to do Computer/electronic systems but if you know ur maths. You will fly through it...In the first semester you will Be learning the basics of circuits and circuit boards and in the second semester you will Be more involved in Programming chips for example......Overall a good course.

Cause it's damn hard and attendence is key, something that certainly does suit me. Your grammar is piss-poor, surely you're not in college?

former property here... out in the wild world a while now. Don't envy you coming out of that course in these times. It was very different when I was there, prospects were brilliant. Brian was and still remains a great friend of mine, tell him rynners said hi.
