His delts ARE huge. He's about 245-255lbs in the vid I think.

Don't think i've ever watched a vid of his and not felt inspired to train.

I like the way he waits for the chorus of Sanitarium then starts lifting in time. They need some Metallica in my gym. "I'm a Barbie Girl" just don't get you pumped in the same way

Seriously? I'd have to leave the gym - I couldn't take that!
Though Westwood is not a lot better, at least the music is fairly low in the weights room! I'd vote for some Metallica in there or something, pity I just dont like training with headphones on!

Oh, and to stay on topic - whoever that dude in the video is he's an legend!

Another reason why i love Pinnacle.

You can walk in, grab a C.D entitled "Heavy **** 1" and just put it on.

seriously though, we need some new CDs. I'm not a fan of metal at all and even I know all the words to all those songs from listening to them so much. Although they are better than that jungle rubbish that Maximus keeps playing... (you can tell him I said that too :p)

I'll make up some stuff on Sunday at home after my lie in ( first one in 5 weeks!!! WOOT!!! ).

As for Maximus, he plays a mean Bongo, so i'll not judge him too harshly!

    "THIS is how to train"

Would this help me with my marathon training?

    Yeah. Obviously.

You should know if I mention training what my post will entail. Don't try to make it something that it's not.

Good vid, my favourite hardcore training video is magnus samuellson's strongest arms one on youtube, highlights include a 270kg x2 bench with full rom very impressive, also curling a 140kg BB, not to mention closing the Coc #4, what a session, In the video hes training with svend karlsen and trying to impress him "....... the viking used to have heavy bench too till he tore his chest....but its allways nice to see a heavy bench....." Definately one of the best.

You know what, yes it would help you.

Train hard. Put the effort into work outs. Push past comfort zones. Train to be the best. Don't quit.

I guess that still doesn't count tho because I posted it.

Badcore. My question is though, He's doing bent over rows or one arm rows or whatever but why are they called kroc rows? I get that it's after him, but why?

Anyway, I'm off to the gym to do same Dave presses.

Theyre called "Kroc Rows" because of the style in which he does them.

Originally they started out as strapless high rep rows. He's done something like 175lb for 35 reps with no straps. This was the original "kroc row".

Now he's doing stupidly heavy weight for like 20+ reps everyone still refers to em as Kroc Rows.

If you wre to go in and do something like 12 reps it wouldn't really qualify as a Kroc row ya know?

Basically, Kroc Rows = High rep one arm dumbbell rows, used to built upper back, grip and deadlift lockout strength.

    Am I making sense?

Yes, I guess. But what a gip. In my day you actually had to do a new exercise to get it named after you.
