TechoGym leg press

In my old gym, which had a basic 45 degree leg press, I could press the full stack of weights (200kg) and was starting to add extra plates on top.

In my new gym, it is nearly killing me to lift 130kg of plates. So did I lose a lot of strenght between gyms, or is the new TechoGym leg press design using bodyweight as well?

Also, everyone else in the new gym seems to be lifting teeny weeny weights on things like the leg press. I see women doing 10kg, and men doing 30-50kg. What's goiing on?

They're average gym goers i.e quite weak?

There's often differences between presses. The angle could be different, the sled could be heavier, I wouldn't worry about it.

The problem with machines is you never know what your actually lifting because of factors such as pulleys, weight of the various parts, different angles making it more difficult etc. Focus on the intensity rather than the figures.

Does it feel like your working as hard as before?

Looking at different sites, it says that the total weight stack is 260kg, which seems quite light for a machine that people with all levels of training experience will be using so perhaps its designed to be tougher than the normal 45 degree leg press.

It feels like I'm busting a gut to move 130, and I can't budge 140kg at all. In this machine, your feet press against a solid base and put your "seat" up a slight slope. That's why I wonder if bodyweight is a factor.
