    -A big enough Irish comprehension.
    -Then 6 Maths questions.

What are you talking about? This would have been the time in 6th year when one should have been under the least amount of stress....

Possibly the anticipation of what was to come....Seeing as how much it is talked up

Nothing! :D Well, I should probably look over the electricity experiments in physics after bombing those questions the other day.

Midnight approaches and I haven't started my homework yet.

I don't know why my mind refuses to acknowledge that procrastination is bad.

Bah, nonsense! I used to hate when people would tell me that. It's even more weird now that I know it's not true - college days are the best days!

about two weeks of religion homework i still havent done,
    Geography exam tomorow
    Irish exam on thursday
A ridiculous amount of music i still havent learnt
Chemistry notes that have to be written

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 377 ✭✭CarefulNow

3 pg History essay. Have 1 page done. Some English questions. Study some economics.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,440 ✭✭✭✭Piste

    Hmm lessee...

    Several religion "assignments" to do
    An Irish comprehension
A lot of French vocab to learn off on "Le Santé" but I can't find the vocab sheet the teacher gave us >.< although I did pick up a leaflet in French on STIs so I might just learn that off :p
    A German debate to write
Lots of maths homework and study for a maths test on Tuesday
Questions from the Chemistry workbook on atomic structure, apparently listening to Blondie's "Atomic" does not count as study :(

Luckily I have a day off on Monday though giving me an extra night to do homework but I want to have the girls round for tea which will take up time and I'm meant to be going to a party tonight meaning I wont get back till late Sunday by which time I'll be knackered so I should really start my homework now, shouldn't I?

    oh well, Dawson's Creek beckons!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,893 ✭✭✭Davidius

    English - 5 questions

    French - Reading Comprehension
    History - 2 long questions
    Applied Maths - 2 questions

The rest I did during a double study period on Friday. :)

    Queue cheep plug for website....

We started this site last year (me with the help of a few of last years LC boardsie's) for this reason, to make the dossing time somewhat constructive.

    www.zulunotes.com

It's a leaving cert wiki, meaning if you're bored and should be studying, you can write up some notes here (i've been doing English poetry and Classical Studies, some of the other guys have been doing Applied Maths and Maths) or just browse around and have a look at whatever else is there. The plan is that there'll be so much time spent doodling on the internet over the year that by next spring there'll be a site chocker block full of notes! (we're optimists :D) Anyone can sign up and lend a hand if they feel up for it!

Its Friday, was playing a football match for my school against Clonkeen College and now just don't feel up to doing my homework. So much to do, so little time. Its quite a pile of work.

    English Essay
    German Letter
    Irish Essay
    2 Physics Exam questions
Study for English test on the comparative studies

Oh the joy but at least we won our football match. Through to the 3rd round Leinster Senior Cup.

This thread seems kind of pointless to me, I don't really know why anyone would be interested in my homework, but here you go: fairly typical night of 6th year homework for me, minus french as I didn't have it, and I never get maths homework anyway.

    Irish
-->poetry essay (oiche nollaig na mban, most depressing poem ever? maybe.)
-->gotta rewrite the essay i did on "tá iomarca cumhacht ag na meáin chumarsáide sa lá atá inniu ann"
    Physics
--> exam papers questions on waves from 2002 to 2007 (that's about 18 questions there) .. but these aint due till after midterm so it's not too bad.
--> do out notes on The Electron
--> questions on said chapter in textbook and workbook
    English
--> research into a theme for comparative
    Music
--> mock composition paper.. hate melody writing so much...

    Agus sin é.

PurpleFistMixer you'll do great in your leaving if you keep that up. What points range are you looking to get?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,851 ✭✭✭PurpleFistMixer

Oh I don't do that much every night, that's for the weekend. Points.. no idea really, considering going to art college so I just need to pass the LC. : p Maximum I'd need is 500, to be entirely safe, for other courses I may want.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,440 ✭✭✭✭Piste

I'm so happy I really don't have too much for this weekend!

Religion: A couple of past exam questions.

French: a terribly simple comprehension a pass Junior Cert class could do

German: Perfect German debate and learn it off

Maths: A couple of co-ordinate geometry questions from the book

And then I have to get cracking on a debate for the Leinsters which is right after my German debate on Thursday >.<

    2001 German Letter

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,440 ✭✭✭✭Piste

I only have my religion left to do, and that's not due till tuesday so that's ok. Also i have a chemistry test i should probably study for.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,231 ✭✭✭Fad

i too have a chemistry test but lets be honest here im not getting anything done at this stage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,851 ✭✭✭PurpleFistMixer

To economise on time, I sometimes listen to the set works while doing other homework (with the exception of the beatles, can't listen to lyrics while doing things). Win all around!

Remaining homework at this point of weekend:
    english comparative theme stuff
    physics exam qs

And no school tomorrow. : D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 149 ✭✭ryanairzer

To economise on time, I'm not gonna sleep tonight. But I'll end up not doing my homework anyway.

    Oh well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,251 ✭✭✭The Walsho

Two tests (French and Irish) to study for, got all my written work done yesterday.
We've a half day tomorrow, but the second half of Mondays for me is dead handy for me, typical
