Was having this converstaion with a friend recently and thought it was really interesting! She once had a full tub of ben and jerrys ice cream...followed by one of the large packets of sensation (crisps) and finally topped it off with a chinese (curry, rice and chips) haha

The worst I've probably done in a day...was 10 fairy cakes (approx), a packet of m&m's and a big fat thai that night!!! Tho I'd say I could have done even worse if I really thought about it! :p

    What your worst???

I can see this being an awful lot like a "how much can you bench thread" where instead of inflating numbers, people inflate their cals.

    I ate a whole cow once....ah no.

Apache 16" pizza with all the meat topping and a lot of coke was the most I've ever eaten in one sitting, nothing too spectacular.

If I had to estimate the most I've ever eaten in a day would be about 9000cals from food and non-alcoholic liquids.

    right - last night
3 quarters of a loaf or white bread, butter and a litre of milk, block of cheese. Washed down with a about 5 slices of homemade apple pie which was delicous!!
an hour later a sweet and sour chicken with fried rice from zweton and a double box of jaffa cakes and another litre of milk.
all in all about 5k cals or more in an hour.
the only thing i was worried about was all that calcium interfering with my zma at bedtime. i dont think it did cas i got the wierdest zma dreams ever. my mate shot the legs off me!!

God, it's a sad day that a whole tub of ben and jerries is an achievement!!!!

The one truly monsterous destruction of a dinner table that I ever did took place in Luigi Malones. Any body who frequents there will know what I mean when I say the portion sizes are HUGE.

    Here's how it went:

    Starter:
Chicken wings (this is no ordinary serving size, they give it to you in a long dish wiht about 20-25 wings, I think it's meant to be a starter to share)

    Main:
Chicken and Ham Pizza (again LM like to do things bigger. DEFINATELY at least 15 inches, closer to 16 tho I'd say).
Then I had about 1/4 of the pizza the person beside me ordered and couldn't finish. A conservative esitmate, 18-20 inches of pizza

    Dessert (this was a mistake):
Chocolate Fudge cake. Someone said there was no way I'd eat dessert after all the other food I'd eaten. I actually hadn't planned on desert but I love a challenge.

    All washed down with Coke.

God I felt like I was going to explode after that. I've honestly never eaten more than the above. And to even contemplate doing it now makes me feel ill. I actually don't know how I managed it.

I'll never forget the day I ate all the pies.

Once brought shame upon myself (well more my girlfriend) by devouring a 52oz steak in Mortons in the US - (it was prime rib so it wasnt all meat in that but still) it looked like one of those steaks that they used to have in to Tom & Jerry cartoons!
Plus starter, sides and a full desert - I was so full I couldnt move afterwards!

I was proud of myself at the time, but afterwords I figured it's nothing really to be proud of! I even took a picture of it!

Oh, and I forgot, there were also 3 giant stuffed shrimp with it too - each one as big as my fist! Restaurant manager even came over and said he had never seen anyone eat that much before - and this was in the US - see, nothing to be proud of!

A 12 inch pizza a couple of times. Barely. I've never been able to do the eating loads in one sitting thing very well. :(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 24,878 ✭✭✭✭arybvtcw0eolkf

For a big bloke I can't actually eat that much at the one sitting.

Instead I spread my Kcals throughout 5-6 meals per day.

I have a mate who (and this is true) at one sitting ate one of everything on the McDonalds menu when his chick managed the outlet in Swords!.

I think I was there that day but I also think I remember seeing you eat more in one session...Pizza Hut...All you can eat....Me getting incredibly angry and embarrassed coz you kept going back to fill up your plate...Ciaran and Loch thinking it was hilarious while Carly felt my shame...any of that sound familiar???? ;);) It was a competition to see who could eat the most or sumit??? I forget most of the details except you eating loads and me being really embarrassed!!

I've had a lot of fat days, can't remember any specific ones off the top of my head, there's been plenty of days where I'd get a Dominoes medium pizza, Chicken strips, tup of Ben and Jerrys then some Chinese an hour or two later followed by a trip to Tesco to get a mountain of profitarolls and chocolate fudge cake! God I'm hungry just thinking about it!!! :p

In one sitting of around 2 hours Dragan and I ate:
    a 16" pizza in 6 minutes.
a packet of Fox's Classic cookies
a packet of Maryland double chocolate cookies.
    a tub of Pringles.
    a tub of Phish Food
a tub of Cookies n' Cream
1L of diet coke and 500ml of apple juice

I wish I could say my portions were ladylike and smaller, but they were as big (bigger??) than Dragan's. Why should I lose out on the fun just coz I'm smaller than him?!?!

Later still:32 oz t bone steak with canarian potatoes, half my partner's fillet mignon
Before bed:Plate of langoustines in white wine and garlic sauce.
Total eating time 13 hours, amount drunk..oh lets see..ten pints, two bottles of wine, perhaps ten gin and tonics.
Did this several times over the two weeks with slight variations.

Friend of mine ate his way through half a slice pan of bread, 2 portions of chips, 2 quarter pounders, 2 battered sausages, a mixing bowl of rice krispies, oh yeah and an apple :)

I honestly think this is the one thing i could beat most people here at.

I am a beast when it comes to putting away the food. Back in my 70kg days my friends used to laugh when we I told them I could easily eat more than them. So we'd have actuall eating competitions and I am still undefeated.

Once when out for dinner in Germany a group of us were over for a kickboxing competition and I was in the under 70kg category and one of the +90kg guys challenged me. I ate my 3 course meal, finished his main course and had his desert. Very funny indeed

There's only one person who I have met who could eat more and we actually call him "The Power" as he is a machine. At 14 years old he was an absolute tank and could man handle any of us. He is just scary at an all you can eat buffet.

Jasmine Palace all you can eat buffet in limerick on a sunday is actually amazing. Hit the weights hard Sunday morning and then into the buffet for all you can eat chicken and prawns

My regular order when I was 15 in my local pizza place was a 12 inch pizza with three toppings, a chicken burger, a quarter pounder, chips and a small tub of hageen daz.

I couldnt eat anywhere near that now:confused: Funny thing is I used to weigh about 140 pounds:D The fellas in the pizza place used to get a great kick out of it:)

Hmmm, I seeing things like 12" pizza and being stuffed and I'm feeling like a freak.

I wouldn't be able to count the calories or when or the amount of times I've done it like you folks, but I'm basically a grazer- if there's food in front of me I'll eat it. Hell, I'm eating right now, but it is lunch time.

My missus did count one day though and after brief consultation with her, here's a lowdown on what I ate after cutting weight and competing one time:
7am Breakfast: Fry-up. 5 or 6 sausages, 4 eggs, 4 slices of toast, 4 rashers, 8-12 slices of black and white pudding, tea, lots of tea.

11 am Mid morning- Danish pastry, coffee, a few pieces of a secret recipe chocolate cake

1pm Lunch- Tuna steak, portion of wedges, salad, another portion of wedges

3pm, more coffee and more secret recipe cake

6pm, dinner- t-bone, roasted veg, pasta salad thingy. more cake as above

9pm, 16" Pizza from Rebel -3 slices she ate, portion of buffalo wings. Beers.
Followed by 1/2 a tub of Ben and Jerry's, can't remember which one but probably Phish Food.

Anyway, the special cake is this thing for kids that my missus made for my son's 1st birthday party and I've been hounding her to make since. It contains 1/4 pound of butter, a can of carnation milk, 2 full packs of cooking chocolate, dried fruit and walnuts. A few thousand calories or so.

That wouldn't be a regular occurence. I eat a lot, 6 out of 7 days my diet is excellent, and on the 7th day, I rest and eat whatever lands in front of me or I feel like. If I don't eat, I get extremely cranky, irritable and am basically unlivable with.

glad to see i'm not the only one keeping them in business. :)

Think I've done the meal for 3 from there on my tod.
although these days my smaller stomach can't do the gorging of old.

Nah, I've just always had problems with eating a big meal at one sitting. There's this Mexican restaurant we go to and the food is great but I can only remember a few times that I managed to finish off the main course and a starter versus simu or anyone else who'd do it easily. I pretty much always leave food behind me. Considering my weight, it's weird that I don't have a bigger appetite.

You sound like simu. She really doesn't handle hunger well.

The first time I ever experienced an All-You-Can-Eat place I made an absolute pig of myself. It was a Mongolian BBQ in London over 10 years ago. The worst/best thing about those places is that you gather all the ingredients yourself and then give it to the chef to cook on a hotplate, as a result you only have stuff on your plate that you actually want to eat so you just gorge yourself. Lost count the amount of times I went up for more. I was sooo ill after that pigfest.

Good few years ago, played in Gorey RFC. Had the stew dinner after the match and was still starving, so I scabbed 10 (ten)desserts off the lads. Apple pie and custard. I just piled the next plate on top of the old one, stacking them up. Got a few slags and stares. I probably only weighed about 12 st at the time.

When my sister got married, my sister-in-law got a shock. Me and my brother got stuck it big time. All extras, veg, spuds, gravy etc etc. She had to sit back from the table incase she got sucked in!!!
It was the first time in my life that I had three sh!tes in the same day. And I mean LOGS!!!
