Anyone interested in a match sometime in the next week, we could prob get our hands on a pitch in ucd or somewhere, just wondering if there would be much interest.

Thursday evening would suit me off the top of my head.

if the paintballing is anything to go by you would probably still be more mobile than the rest of us lazy gits as we'll all be shattered after a minute

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,049 ✭✭✭The_Chopper

UCD and Irish town are 2 good places that work deal with.

If it does less damage to my legs than paintball then I'd play.

    does this involve running?

stick my name down - thurs evening sounds perfect.

i can try sort out a grass pitch in bushy park in terenure any day, no flood lights though so would have to be early enough, can provide nets etc etc.

UCD have a 11-a-side astro/grass/rubber pitch which is flood lit. 100 euro for two hour booking, 5 euro a head or something like that.

i'll play anywhere, prob in goals or something cos im having ankle issues.

Apparently the 11 a side astro turf is only 50 euro for students..... heh heh

Heading down now to get confirmation, will let you all know later

11 a side pitches are WAY more unfit people friendly than 5 a side, no where to hide on a 5 a a side.

+1 here. Played astro a bit and man 5 a side is pure pain. Constant running or in my case no running and getting a constant bollocking!
