    this is me, drive all day, eat at garages, smoke a joint at weekends, dont drink, smoke, have got into a fit of coughing twice, that caused me to pass out dont sleep for more than 4 hours. Want to get a lot healthiier than am now,,,,,,Not hard says you.
    A simple step plan to do between now and xmas.
    Age 45...wt 17 stone, not a great heart....but a nice one.....a gentle plan for me. I dont mind paying for a trainer. I had mad a few bob but the health is f***ed. In north Dublin any fitness heads out there want a challenge ? As I said, you will be paid well for your time. You will be able to to a thesis based, on me alone !! PM me. ,m

    first off chuck the fags and substances!get out walking and cycling.dont start running as you may not be able for it at first.hit the weights and eat right!this will not only cut weight,get your heart in order AND will tire you out which will let you get proper sleep.others can elaborate in greater detail but you'd definitely be better off getting a trainer!

    Stop eating those breakfast rolls!!!:D Get yourself into a gym and a trainer will asess you and give you a workout..

    Maybe even consider wanting more than just health/fitness but superior health and fitness because the health and fitness in this country on average sucks.

    Please cut out the weed.You're 45, not 19!
    And get more sleep(if you can)
    Read stickies for diet plans.Start with light exercises and build up from there
    Cook your own food!

    Oh see a docter about your heart to check if it prevents you from doing any exercises.Better still.Get a physical.I bet the results will shock you and will hopefully give you motivation!

    I know lads in their 70's still smoking, nobody ever says the same about drink for some reason. The daily tobacco smoking is the one to cut out if anything. The weekly spliff might make you eat a bit too much too though.

    Read the stickies as mentioned. I would suggest lifting heavy weights, at 45 you have probably lost a lot of muscle mass over the years.
