I want a healthy diet plan to stick to, but one with variety, e.g each meal would have a few choices to pick from [I get bored easily]

I could prob learn myself or get the info here but I tend to stick to things better if I think i'll lose money if I dont

    Any advice?

I want to lose some fat, and add some lean mass [if thats possible]

Not training at the mo but will be joinin the gym in the coming weeks to do a mixed cardio and weights programme

    thanks

There's more important things for you right now than seeing a nutrionist... training would be one of them. All the info is out there anyway.

Agreed , use the tools on bodybuilding.com to figure out your nutritional needs/timing then head for the gym

gooday mate i am currently studying to be a dietitian(nutritionist) and a bodybuilder. i advise you to see a nutritionist because bodybulding.com does not give you a tailored diet for eg. it assumes that a 60pound guy needs 180g of protein and this much carbs and fat in order to put on muscle or loose weight however it does not take into consideration your metabolism so eg. you and your mate could follow this diet and he can loose fat but you might not because everybody's metabolism is different, another thing is this diet does not cover vitamins for a healthy body, also bodybuilders are more susceptible to kindey damage than the average person because of the exess protein we have in our diet, however a nutritionist can make a diet that will build you up and will give you foods and techniques to keep your kidneys healthy such as foods like avocado's & bananas etc... which are high in potassium. If you are in australia visit www.daa.asn.au and find a dietitian, dietitians in australia are part of medicare, well most of them are its a personal choice with each individual dietitian, so its totally free you've got nothing to loose and everything to gain go for it mate and good luck!!

Most dieticians will charge 120 for initial app and then 50 for each follow up. I found them really useful as a sort of extra self check system once every 3 months but its up to the individual. I have the name of a good one if you want to PM me
