Chelsea are good things to beat Fulham.

    Martins for Newcastle!!!

After the week he's had he deserves that.

A minor setback in the fantasy as I had to let him go before Saint Michael got injured, and I have Dunne and Richards in my team still. Doh!

Sven reckoned he was "getting away" with some dodgy keeping.

    Thank god I bought Petrov.
    One all

Great first half at the City of Manchester, Newcastle were a little lucky to go in front, but with a goal like that who cares. Sensational control and great finish by Martins. City deserved their equaliser, after some superb play by Ireland and Elano down the right. Great finish by Petrov as well.

Given made one excellent save, had a dodgy moment against Mpenza as well. Hart was lucky to get away with an awful touch that nearly led to an own goal. Elano and Ireland are the best two players on the pitch, with Smith, Viduka and Milner all playing well for Newcastle. Should be a great second half, I reckon it'll be City by a goal, 2-1 or 3-2.

Great cross by Petrov to Mpenza who makes it 2-1

Dammit went for Scholes instead of Petrov this week.

Elano again. Looking like one of the buys of the season. Sven not an idiot shocker continues!

    Mike.

Ladies and gentlemen you have just seen the goal of the season and one of the best free kicks ever. Elano is our new God. He gave a lesson in how to pass a ball and that hit was out of this world.

Stephen Ireland had a screamer along with Petrov and Micah. We looked great at times, and thanks to Sven we now have character.

Top of the league and havin a laugh

What can I say, at least Newcastle worked hard and tried to play a bit of football for a change.

Unfortunately a midfield of Geremi, Butt and SMITH isn't going to really succeed. I look forward to hopefully seeing Barton and Emre next week for Everton and Spurs.

Man City are a classy side and that was an impressive performance by their lot.

Hleb stretchered off after a wreckless tackle by Noble. He's only back from injury ffs.

Him and Rosicky out now, bad news. Injury problems in the two weakest areas, wide midfield and CB.

And what a dirty tackle it was

    According to the BBC:
    1548: GOAL Portsmouth 2-1 Reading
Good job for the Royals they haven't gone in yet as Liam Rosenior gives them a lifeline. He spins in the box and hooks a shot on to the bar which spins down over the line. Stephen Hunt followed it up with a header in a melee of players to make sure, but that's Rosenior's first goal for the club.

Yes everton and boro at home and I can see them winning those games going on the way they've started. I like the way they play and wish more teams would try and follow suit.

Ljungberg goal disallowed for offside :D

Very close though. Arsenal will need to wake up. West Ham are starting to have chances.

In fact looking at the replay, that goal should have been allowed.
