Do they ban specific supplements or specific ingredients,
Specific ingredients- therefore any supplement with many ingredients, one of which is banned, is also automatically banned. e.g. a 100kilo bag of flour with 1mg of cocaine is illegal.

I am not sure what you are getting at there, they will not ban any supplement with any combination of legal ingredients, if thats what you also wondered, e.g. a stimulant supplement full of all different sorts of legal stimulants.

my trib got stolen and they were kind enough to let the rest of package through.
the guy in the imb told me that once 1 item in the package is illegal they have the right to take the whole package legal stuff and al. .............but since it was my 1st offense they said i could have the rest albeit 6 weeks later.

i've seen Axis-HT in dublin shops

I've never used trib but anything I've read has said that studies do not support the supposed testosterone boosting properties.
I have used velvet antler before and that seemed to have quite a strong effect. It's supposed to increase the half-life of testosterone in the body, resulting in elevated levels after a couple of months. Some studies do support this theory, while others do not.

Is there anywhere you can check if a substance is legal or not. I'm thinking of ordering some velvet antler now.

Specific constituents of the substance that I suspect might make it illegal, even if the substance itself is not listed are:
"growth factors (GF), which include epidermal and nerve GFs, insulinlike GF I and II, and transforming alpha and beta GFs; and cytokines (an immune regulator)"

Yep the listed ingredients are banned. Not even as prescription medicine, just plain and simply banned.

You can also email the IMB and they will respond rather quickly too

Velvet antler is taken from elk or deer antlers, which is the most regenerative tissue there is apparently.
So those things are not ingredients in the normal sense, in the same way that cream isn't an ingredient of milk.
In fact milk is a good example here because it contains igf too.

tbh reading up about those things puts me off the idea of using velvet antler again anyway. Don't like the idea of ingesting hormones at all.

Thats handy for them, so if you have a 40ft container load of bmw's coming through and there is a leaf of st johns wort they can keep all the cars!
You can also email the IMB and they will respond rather quickly too
But is there a simple list of all banned substances. I looked for this before and could never find one, I was more interested in obscure recreational drugs. Many drugs can fall under the category "analogues" so might be illegal yet not on the list, e.g. a drug very similar in structure to amphetamine yet not specifically named. Ignorance is no defence in law but surely they cannot purposely keep you ignorant. It is in their interest to publish a list, otherwise you will be emailing about every single ingredient.

"In fact milk is a good example here because it contains igf too."- milk contains morphine too.
