Hello everyone. Im new here so I hope Im posting this in the correct forum. It all looks a little confusting at the moment so bear with me. But tell me what makes this message board different from 'other' message boards.

I suppose it's the sheer amount of forums and members. We seem to have experts on pretty much every topic so when someone needs an answer someone here can usually provide it.

Myspace has more 'groups' than Boards. The only places on here I like, are this place, Wrestling, football, it's got some funny and smart people and Fitness. The movie and Fitness forum is ok, but how gay is the LC forum? Idiots.

We have Ruu as a moderator who is half robot, half vampire zombie. He never sleeps and he moderates for 27 hours a day, every day. I think boards is fairly unique in that way anyway.

Hi. Welcome to boards.ie

There are 900 or so forums here ranging from tennis to mustard (never take the piss out of the mustard forum. Seriously) to Anime and Manga.

It can be hard to navigate if you are new, so I suggest you take a bit of time and have a look around.

It's not entirely complete, but it may answer some of your questions.

It could be a browser issue.
Try clearing your cache.

The site is running a bit slow today (not unusual, but it has been a lot better of late) and this may also be part of the problem.
Sometimes I have to click it a few times before it works.

It took me ages to figure out why the quick reply section wasnt working, turns out you have to click the button in a post. Jaysus and i am not even blonde.

You will probably find the odd forum soon enough that you have a real interest in or you could be like Ruu and manage to be upto date with every forum/thread ... seriously i think that bloke has a matrix style internet connection, me suspects he dosnt actually exist in real life.
