Shell script to install extensions on Firefox

Hello, I need help in creating a shell script that when run will install extensions on Firefox. Basically, we have different extensions installed on different machines running Firefox. We are rebuilding the machines a lot and it's a pain to individually install the extensions on each machine. If I had a script that would install the extensions, that would make my life 100% easier. If anyone has any experience in this or can point me in the right direction I would be VERY grateful. Thanks in advance.

I'm fairly sure you can simply copy ~/.mozilla/firefox into the new build. That way the extensions are already fully configured too.
