Has anyone ever ordered stuff off these guys before? With the euro so string against the dollar at the moment I'm quite interested in getting a few bits off them but I'm not sure what they are like for delivery etc.

    Cheers.

    Gintonius,

I haven't used them personally but perhaps if you tell us what you're looking for the good people of boards will be able to help you out with site/price recommendations?

be care full what you order bb.com are a top notch outfit but some of the products they sell contain ingredients that you are not allowed to import

Was only looking at getting some Cellmass,Nitrix and maybe NO-Xplode, maybe some protein as well, looking at BB.com because of the exchange rate at the moment, it works out very cheap.

i use them on a regular basis. noramlly get deleveries 4 working days after order is placed. cheap as hell, and the best selection online.

Watch for customs, not just for banned stuff but for duty, can end up expensive, duty is charged on the declared value AND the postage costs.

I've ordered from them, and had no problems, but the postage adds up very rapidly.

Be careful what you order, I've had a run-in with the Irish Medicine's Board over ECA.

you'll have run-ins with more than just the IMB if it's true ECA...

yohimbine, certain Vit B supplements, Ma-Huang (or any ephedrine derivative), tribulus terrestris and weirdly St. John' wort are all siezed, aside from all the usual suspects of course i.e. if it's on the WADA list, it's not allowed through.

Not everything gets stopped, but by and large they'll inspect anything with a BB.com label.

It says on the site that the shipping costs are $10, is that per item or for the whole order?

per item afaik - and is that the international shipping charge?

I've ordered from them before and they were grand, but its always taken aaaaages to arrive. They don't really have anything I can't get from one of the Irish supp stores with free delivery and I usually try and negotiate a discount from them anyway :p

i have ordered from them at least 15 times at this stage,
they were never more than 5 working days.
i always get what i order,
not had any probs with customs,
boxes were never opened or seals damaged when i get them,
cheapest place even after postage i have ever bought from,
and your not charged per item, your charged by weight. try it out, put some stuff in your cart and see if the postage price increases if its two small things.
plus make sure you order the fast track internationl shipping (4-6 working days) its actually cheaper, dont know how.....but it is.

That was banned a few years back, was in all the papers, mainly saying how stupid the ban was!, think it is still legal to grow it though.

I ordered stuff off them about 3 weeks ago still hasnt arrived , but anything I ever order from the states seems to take ages.

Might resurface again now that youth suicide is in the media alot. I loved when the IMB got questioned on the logic of it & basically said that they were the body in charge of deciding what was ok and what wasn't and that they didn't need to explain any of their decisions.

I have found bb.com excellent. Quick delivery and a selection of great products! I shall be ordering off them in the next day or 2 for the same reasons as yourself

if thats happening, check your oder status on bodybuilding.com, more than likely they dont have what you have ordered in stock and its on back order. thats the one oor thing i found with bb.com, it doesnt say when you place your order if what your looking for is in stock or not until you have paid for it. so that sucks, but if it is in stock, 5 days is longest ive had to wait. just un lucky with what your ordering i guess

Is the shipping bad for price? Iv been reading the site and it seems to be cheap enough.

It was Vasapro plus caffeine. They eventually sent me the caffeine!

Cellmass, nitrix and no xplode is 144 euro on http://www.nutritionconnection.ie/goods-317.html
    Is BB.com cheaper than that?

I have ordered from these guys before and found them, fast and excellent service. Top quality product and a great after slaes service. Maybe the first time I ordered something online and didn't feel like the other party should be having a ciggie when I rang a cab and pulled my knickers half back on before doing the walk of shame with runny mascara.

Paint quite a picture don't I? Seriously though, yes they're great. but do check that you are allowed import the products into your country.

I have a UK Maestro card. It's crap & only works in a few places outside the UK.

Lads what this BSN N.O - XPLODE stuff like??

Thinking of buyin it, to go along with my normal intakes of protein shakes, any thoughts?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,395 ✭✭✭✭Frank Bullitt

Just a final question, do you get stung on the VAT on an order?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 21,981 ✭✭✭✭Hanley

    Probably VAT and import duty.

I got charged €100ish VAT and import duty on a €300ish training gear order a couple of weeks ago.

It seems to majorly depend on the shipping company too. DHL is a fcuking nigthmare for it in my exp!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,395 ✭✭✭✭Frank Bullitt

well the order in dollars is 600 on the button, which is 435 or so and if i were to buy here would cost 750 or so.

would it go up much with duty with that?

I have been told that if it's giftraped or marked gift they wont charge  (also if the declaration states that the value is under €25 they wont chrage)

A Maestro Laser will let you withdraw cash from ATMs but you can't use it like a credit card for direct payment.

i used it for a while my self.

its like an ultra red bull ( the feeling you get ) for about 2-3 hours due to the high caffine/taurine content.

But reading up on the N.O. supplements, theres a lot left to ask.

was reading up on t-nation about studies done with these n.o. supplements. they are mainly just arginine and dont really affect your n.o. levels( well as im trying to find the article about it, what i remember is that 10g of the supplement can cause stomach upsets, where 40g is needed just to see noticable differences), what it does though is increase insilun production in the pancreas which inturn generates the desired effect.

if you read the claims on the ads and box for it, its all "may do this" and "can do that". nice big words, but no proof.

On the other hand, thats not to say that it mighnt work. n.o.-explode also has creatine ethyl ester in it and due to possibly and slightly elivated levels of n.o. in the blood can piggy back in to the muscles.

I'm no expert, so if anyone who knows better like to add, im all ears. Personally i like the stuff, you feel more alert and rearing to go to training when usually you just want to vegatate infront of the box, you get a noticable difference in the pump and you feel like your giving it 110% for your workout. Just be warned, when it wears off your wrecked!
