VoIP Setup Nightmare

    Hi There,

I am attempting to setup VoIP with Blueface (PAYG Ac) on my broadband connection, Just to describe my setup:

    BB Provider: Permanet Wireless Broadband
    Hardware: Arris Cable Modem CM450
    Wireless Router: Linksys WRT54GSV4
    ATA: Linksys PAP2 Phone Adaptor
    Phone: Standard Analogue Eiircom Phone

I am having a few problems here, thought it would be a case of just loggin into the ATA & putting in my blueface details to the device & off I go - far from it.
I am not gettin any Dial tone, from the unit, also on the PAP2 HTTP interface under 'Line 1 Status' I am gettin the following:

'Registration State: Can't connect to login server'

So I assume it cannot get properly connected to blueface here, when I ping sip.blueface.ie from my laptop it Pings 100%.
I have been told that my Arris BB Modem is set to DHCP & also my Linksys Router is set to DHCP & that is where there may be a possible problem, the SIP protocol in the ATA is gettin confused & cannot route its way out through my network setup.

I have attempted also to connect the ATA directly to the Arris Modem, therefore bypassing the Router & tried to get a connection but nothing.
The ATA does not even pick up a valid IP Address from the cable modem after I reset the unit. In this case it should be gettin 192.168.176.x but no matter what I do its always getting 192.168.1.101 & yes its set to DHCP.

Its problems in every direction really & I seem to be getting no results, i have tried reading all the doucmentation on the net & still no good, do I need to setup portforwarding or something like UDP or uPnP settings on my linksys router & then would everything be ok??

A lot of questions - no answers??

Help Please would be much appreciated....
