hmm Bob had 97 and Sonnert had 77 and the board was 9786 or 97T8 and the river was a 9.
Took me all of 2.5 minutes to figure it out.

Just saw the update on pokernews and I was wrong on all counts.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,724 ✭✭✭nicnicnic

bob had 9h8h board 9x7x7h6h sonnet Ax 7x wasn't ment as a quiz just copy and paste wouldn't take the pokernews card symbols but good effort

    Bob Willis 58,975

    Brendan Walls 24200

Looks like Andy Black is gone but didn't catch any report of his exit. I've played with Bobby a lot; ain't no way he is given up these chips easily I'd say at least a cash baring badbeats. Brendon is also well capable of turning his stack into a super result, best of luck to both for day two

who is the guy with the CPT hat

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,267 ✭✭✭opr

I don't know the exact details of the hand but he got in on a q high flop when he had KQ and the other guy had an OESFD. Other guy hit a straight flush on the turn. It was for a pretty big pot at the time would have left him around the top 7 or 8 at the time. Gutted for him as it wasn't long to go before the money and he was healthy enough.

    Great performance all the same.
