Does anybody have any links on any strength gain fitness programmes?

I'm starting wrestling training in December(building up money for fees) and while I don't have to be in great condition to join, it will be of benefit.

I don't want to be ripped, but I just want to gain good strength, but at the same time keep my flexibility.

elitefts.com read all the articles, there's loads of them

    westside-barbell.com, more articles

t-nation.com search for articles by Eric Cressey and Mike Robertson - they've some good ones on recovery and general conditioning/injury prevention.

I know you're probably looking for something that just tells you do x, y and z x 10 or whatever but it doesn't really work like that. There's lots of ways to get strong but they all involve pushing yourself. Reading through those sites though will help you out a lot.

You also have to factor in how your specific training will affect your program.

How to Design a Damn Good Program Part I

How to Design a Damn Good Program Part II

Both by Christian Thibadeau, on t-nation. OK, so you may not feel confident enough to build your own workout program, but the articles are a great read in themselves. They'll help you understand why training is structured in different ways according to what your goals are, and that way when you see one of the 'cookie-cutter' programs you'll know whether they suit your goals or not.

Crossfit all the way. Perfect for wrestlers IMO.
