    The bubble has just burst and he is in the last 18.

    He started today on 20k and built it up to a high of 85k before slipping back down. Right on the bubble he caught runner runner flush for a double up against a raging TonyG. Chip count is uncertain but the man is in the running for bracelet glory.

    best of luck.

    What was the turnout like for this. Is the main event expected to draw a large field?

    link to updates?

    pokernews.com and then go to the live reporting tab.

    He was amongst the chipleaders (as was Tony Cooney) for most of yesterday. Both of them slipped back late in play though. Tony busted at the hands of TonyG early today and Hali has been pwning them on behalf of Ireland in his absence ever since.

    Really hope he takes this one down.

    Would love him to win this...

    Hali has just doubled up - go on!!

    edit - that would be a treble up actually.
    Sick Laydown

    Ted Forrest just made a sickening laydown.

    David Callaghan goes all in, Ted Forrest reraises to isolate him, Antoine Arnault throws more chips in the pot, but not enough to be a reraise and he didnt announce raise, so it counts as a call. Forrest only as 10000 chips left in a 200k pot.

    {3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

    Arnualt bets Teds last 10000, Ted does not like the flop. He dwells up forever and eventually folds, despite getting 20-1. He looks unhappy about it.

    Good fold though, Callaghan has Aces, Arnault has Kings and Callaghan doubles up.

    Forrest is on his last breath.
