I'm in the healthy weight range (just about I'd say- female, late 20s, 5' 4'' 10stone) for my height but I could shed a stone to look better -and I suppose feel better.

However, I seem to be on a see-saw of thoughts where half the time I think it's only a stone, have a bit of willpower and you'll have it lost in a month or two. The other half of the time (actually truth be told 99%) of the time, I think to myself arah sure amn't I grand!

Trouble is, this stone I think about now used to be a half a stone and I wonder where it will end if I don't take action..

I'm beginning to wonder am I going to let myself go to the point where I'm really unhappy about my body before I do anything about it? I don't want this to happen but I seem to keep putting it off for another day.

I might make the effort one day and eat well and go for a walk or a swim. The next day I can end up in McDonalds!! Who am I kidding?!!

    Anyone else feel like this?

I think I'm looking for a bit of a kick up the a**e really cos I know it's just pure laziness that has me this way and all the information I need is right here in the stickies.

Oh I know that feeling. But you just need to commit to it. Why don't you start with one thing at a time, like diet. To keep track of my diet, % of carbohydrates, fats and protein - I use a website called myfooddiary.com. I am too lazy to work it out myself so you just put in the foods and it does the work for you. To keep you motivated - it tells you the date that you will lose the weight by (your 14lbs), how many calories you have left that day to maintain your weight and to reach losing 1 per week. I think its really helpful because it holds you accountable for what you are eating, you are meant to log everything including tea and alcohol and you would be surprised the foods that are not worth their calories! Also it measures your sodium intake and saturated fats which it so handy! You get a bad smilie if you are over. Look at the stickies at the top and it will give you a good idea of the foods you should be eating! and the calories you should be eating a day to lose a pound a week.

    i'm exactly the same!
i'm healthy weight but a stone heavier than i should like to be. i know if i can lose that stone i'd look so much better. but i'm not having much progress, like yourself. since the start of august i've only lost 1 pound.:(
i've starting eating healthier foods and cutting down on junk food. also i write down everything i eat every day, so you can look at it after a week and you feel bad when you see where you let yourself down.

the worst thing is exersise, cause i can't motivate myself to do it!

well if you find out anything that helps please share!!
