Where to buy medicine balls in Dublin?

    Does anybody know anywhere in Dublin city centre to buy a med ball?

    Arnotts sell 5 -10 Kg ones, bought them for 60 - 90 euro last year..

    Thanks. Checked Argos.ie they only seem to have ones with grips, looking for without grips. Were yours with grips?

    If it's for home use, make your own.

    Here's what I did:

    Take 1 burst football (a basketball would have been better, but I didn't have any burst ones), cut a line in it with a sharp knife. Fill it with sand at your local beach (or get some in your hardware store).

    Duct tape around the cut line a few times. Duct tape in the opposite direction. Duct tape in between the two lines, etc.

    Presto, free medicine ball. My one weighs 7KG (almost exactly) which is all I was looking for. It looks like crap, but functions perfectly.
