    Sets Reps Weight/Resistance

    1 15-20 BW
    2 15-20 BW
    3 15-20 BW
    (pullups if anyone is wondering)

Just wondering by "reps" does the above mean that i have to do 15-20 pullups for the first set, 30-40 pullups for the second set (with a break half way obv) and 45-60 pullups for the final set?

    thanks :)

Usually that would mean you'd do 3 sets, each containing 15-20 pull ups.

Surely you're doing more than just one exercise?

yea thats just 1 of about 18 i have to do.

So what your saying is, that in total im supposed to do between 45-60 reps?

Yes, but who is prescribing this workout?

Is that all there is to it?

And if you can do 15-20 pull ups that's jsut sick.

    Using the notation you have offered, then it looks like it prescribing;

    15-20 BodyWeight pullups,
Followed by 30-40 (with a rest in the middle),
    Followed by 45-60 (two rests).

Which I would be in awe of.

What I'd say it's trying to suggest is:

1st set; do 15-20 BW pullups.
2nd set; do 15-20 BW pullups.
    3rd set; same.

Which is still quite an accomplishment.

Do 15-20 pull ups (b1), go straight into the next exercise (b2), then rest a minute or 2.

Then do it all again (this is set 2). After that, do it all again!!(this is set 3)

Presumably the first few weeks of the above program are bodyweight stuff to get your general condiitioning levels up before you hit the weights? If that's the case it looks liek a good sensible progression.

thanks man. yea the first few weeks are just are mainly upperbody work. There is also an intense ab workout ontop of that workout. The whole programme lasts 16weeks so hopefully it will all go according to plan.
Im dying for a nice Quiznos sub already!
