They do have loads of electricity, there's enough to power two phones, 3 teles and over 9 radios.

Sadly it no longer exists! Good choice though.
Some how the Clarion managed to get it renamed to Clarion Rd.
    Someone somewhere has a friend.

Having said that, I'm with basquille on this one, isn't this a little specific to be in here? but at least nobody has mentioned us here, I suppose.

Mind you, I give it ten minutes max now until we are and it's accompanied with a link right back here. Lets face it though, there's far worse. But I digress.

That place with the restaurants by the river is nice. Is that a street?

Can I ask any Sligonians reading this, as it came up in a debate recently. How come people in Sligo go about calling Sligo, Sligo City - when it isn't actually a city ?

Rockwood Parade? Not specifically.... tis one of the nicest area in the town though alright!

A quick google tells me that Rockwood Parade is probably the place I'm thinking of. Looked a little European and cosmopolitan to me.

    Generally they don't.
Some local government reps and the media refer to it as a city but that's all.

Truth is we need a lot more industry in Sligo in order to be considered a city - not just empty fúckin apartment blocks!

I would like to see it a city if it was warrented!

@ Exit. That is Rockwood Parade. It was refurbished about 10-15 years ago (i think) and now has some nice pubs & restaurants running along the river.
It's a great spot on a good day!
