You don't join cults for "fun". You are better off being bored.

Scientology ?? Apparently a lifetime of courses to attend to get rid of the stuff the aliens put in you all those millenia ago, it would get you out of the house of an evening .....

The catholic church sounds like a great cult, they even have their own airline now that travel's to/from events... I'd say it's mad craic on those flights once the holy beer starts flowing!

    The Blue Oyster Cult.

Start your own cult and use it to further your own interests. You just need dozens of gullible vulnerable people and a bit of a spiel to rope them in with, than you can start exploiting them

You could join that sex cult thing I read about recently in Mayo.

43 women (mostly yanks) and 31 men. They all sleep with each other.

Based around a mix of some Japanese cult and other nonsense.

Jeez, time was you could visit Mayo, and feel safe that you would encounter nothing more sexually deviant than sheep!

And the kids were probably a result of the sex within the cult leading to incest.. Hmm

We take this sort of ignorant criticism very seriously. You've seen what we've done to others. Enlighten your minds and souls before judging.

Make money. Make more money. Make other people make money.
    L. Ron Hubbard, Hubbard Communications Office Policy Letter, 9 March 1972, MS OEC 384

He may have made a woefully inadequate sci-fi writer, but I must admit he made a rockin' demented cult founder.

Xenu (also Xemu), pronounced , according to Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, was the dictator of the "Galactic Confederacy" who, 75 million years ago, brought billions[1] of his people to Earth in DC-8-like spacecraft, stacked them around volcanoes and killed them using hydrogen bombs. Scientology holds that their essences remained, and that they form around people in modern times, causing them spiritual harm.

    Wikipedia

That's some pretty whacked out belief, and we haven't even got to the clams yet!

Oh, like religions and other belief systems cannot be shown in the same light? Guy nailed to a cross - guy returns - something something - profit.

Christian churches have made more money than Scientology ever has or will. We respect your beliefs, why can't you respect ours?

Does it have to be entrails? They're awful messy, could you not just use one of the priest's old belts instead?
