    Guys,

I eat fruit during the day, I can eat per day, 2 oranges, 2 bananas, a pear, 2 plums, slice of pineapple. All between 9am and 6pm. With lunch, 4 litres of water and 2 cups of coffee in between.

So is that too much fruit do ye think, or is there such a thing?

yes you can-5 fruit and veg is recomended a day-2 fruit and 3 veg will cover that-i would not recommend less but maybe more for larger people or more active people..

I eat that much fruit everyday and it doesn't appear to be doing me any harm. It must be better stuffing your face with chocloates and crisps!

Watery fruits like melons, pears, oranges and even apples are fine as they are low in calories and high in fibre (and water:rolleyes:). Bananas you should limit to prob one a day. They are calorie dense and have a high GI.

So long as you are reaching for an apple instead of a chocolate bar everytime, I wouldn't worry too much about quantity.

Edit: just reread your post. I'm prob reading this wrong but you're not just eating fruit all day are you???

The op is not eating too much fruit but the question asked is simple-can you eat to much? the answer is YES. like you can drink to much water! its all relevant to your goals and stuff-if your looking to lose weight the extra calories in fruit all add up healthy or not, fruit in excess lke anything else can make you fat..

I think you're safe enough in what you eat... as previous posts have said its much better than reaching for chocolate or crisps

It's not, 2-3L a day is a normal rcommended amount, 4-5L if you exercise frequently.
