    hey guy, i was wondering if anyone has used this mass gainer b4. just want to get your opinions on it. or can some one recommend a really effective mass gainer? i used mass x before and found it helpful should i stick with this 1.

    I dont know about on's serious mass but I use their gold standered whey and as far as mixing and taste go it's a great product :cool:

    try the serious mass if you dont find it works for you, you can allways swich back :cool:

    Best gainer at the min for hard gainers is TwinLabs Super Gainers Fuel.

    nearly 3000Kcal per serving with only 36g of sugar.

    If I'm understanding this right... You used MassX before, you know it works well. But still want to use something else??

    FWIW I have heard good things about Super Gainers Fuel too.

    I've always found Mass-x the best. With gainers fuel you only get 9 servings per 10lb tub and it works out at a fiver a drink... 3000kcals is far too much in a single serving.

    Why does it HAVE to be 3k per serving anyway? Why can't you just use 1/3 the amount, have 1,000kcals and have a tub that last 3 times as long as you were hoping. Everyone's a winner...

    I think I would possibly fall asleep instantly if I took in that many calories in 1 go!

    Speaking of, I've been using mass-x for the past 3 months now. Its really helped me squeeze in those extra calories I've always needed but there's one drawback: I usually feel very sluggish and sleepy after taking it.

    Does anyone have any advise on how to alleviate this??

    ok guys i've ordered my serious mass and now i'm just wondering how much servings i should take everyday and should i take it before workout or at morning and night. will i also take it on days im not working out.

    Out of interest, why would your order a mass gaining supplement if you have no idea how to take it?

    agreed. However as I stated in Jon's supplement thread you shouldn't be going next nor near the serving size on this, I personally even think 1/6 of the serving size is slightly OTT for what you should be using this for.
    Although the only person who is going to know how much you need to take is you, as you are thw only one who know how many extra calories you need in your diet

    i just want to know if i should take it on the days i workout or will i take it everyday. with the last mass gainer i took (mass x) i only took it on workout days. i think i could have gotten better results if i took it everyday. if i'm taking it on the days im not working out don't i gain fat and not muscle?

    You have to understand it does not have some magic effect that makes you gain mass (that's why i hate the term mass gainer) it's just extra calories.

    It really doesn't make much difference when you take it,just use it if you have to to ensure you're getting enough calories.
