It's a small place outside Bristol that I saw on a signpost when my sister lived there. As a golfer I thought it was funny: ie chipping (golf shot) and Sodbury (digging sods while playing golf...)

I saw a movie from the 60's last year whose main character was a girl called "Gidget" and movie's title was of the same name. I rememeber thinking at the time it was a cool name. The name stuck in my head and I decided to use it when I registered.
