Alot of us play 6max on ipoker so im going to post my HUD/Pop up stats and anyone else that feels like sharing go ahead.

Its easy to share, ill write this assuming youve absolutely no idea so apologies if it looks like computers for dummies lesson:p

    Open PAHUD
    Goto OPTIONS
    >The Layout Manager

Then in the layout manager choose FILE
    > Then Export
Then choose an easy location to save your file in like Desktop or My Documents and give it a name and then attach that file to the post as an attachment.

Lastly youll need to zip your file before sending it because boards wont accept them particular files unzipped

    Heres my Legend:
    V$PIP - PFR - Total Aggression - Hands
Fold SB - Fold BB - Fold to Flop Bet - Went To Show - Won At Showdown

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,513 ✭✭✭RoadSweeper

oops they're the ones i have.

They must come with the file. Makes sence.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,666 ✭✭✭Imposter

Here's mine. I don't like the colour coded ones as I keep mixing up which stat is which and the stats only really make sense when taken in combination so I have each stat as a different colour. Have a look in the file to find out what's in the combined stats as i'm lazy so i'm not going to type it. I'm not happy with my pop-up stats so i'm still tweaking it but it's better than the default I think.

PAHUD really need to bring in a PF 3-bet figure.

Yeah i agree, Holdem Manager will have all that kind of stuff no set ETA but he did mention that the end of the month was a possibility but i think thats slightly delayed due to other problems hes trying to get on top of.

Do you think when this holdem manager is released that a 4 and 5 betting battle (light) will be more common among regulars as its going to stand out once these stats are available?

I know you can already gather when someones 3betting light but often it can be misleading and you can over estimate how often hes 3betting and with stats you can use them to define a better range of what hes 3betting with.

Its PT that needs to collect it, then HUD can display it.

It would better to post a screenshot of the layout, to get a quick view of them all. then DL the best ones

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,953 ✭✭✭dvdfan

I think that old one is a bit cluttered and overlapping etc and covering showdown hands etc, this one is similar but should be much better

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,327 ✭✭✭NeoSlicerZ

Do these work with mini view by any chance?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,953 ✭✭✭dvdfan

No Neo, you can mess around with them and alter them to suit but the right click to show all player stats dosent work for mini view, then again i never use them anyway. One hint if your doing your own mini view layout, when you have a seat layout down for say seat 1 you can use the duplicate seat option in the EDIT menu to copy that layout for the other seats.

If anyone has a mini view layout id be interested too see one

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,201 ✭✭✭Macspower

if you sort this out neo..... let me know...... ;) I tried it but I'm a donk...

I got the mini view imported into the layout alright but after that it's all a blurr to me

    ok you asked for it!!

    tableipn6maxmn3.jpg

heres the one i was using although it's not one of my tables it should work i think?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,953 ✭✭✭dvdfan

Ok heres my completed Mini View PAHUD Layout and a dummies guide to installing it.

Some things to do 1st before starting:

Backup your old 6max Pahud layout for full view in case you need to go back to it by going to the Layout Manager in PAHUD and then going to File Menu ---> Then Export and saving it to your documents.

Backup your full view ipoker background pic in case you need it later. Navigate to c:/ ---> program files ----> PokerAce Hud ----> Data ---> Images and right click on the image called table_ipn_6_max.jpg select copy and then press ctrl+v to paste a copy of the original file as we will be overwriting it soon.

Ok Thats the backup stuff done. Save the picture file attached to this post to c:/ ---> program files ----> PokerAce Hud ----> Data ---> Images and call it:

    table_ipn_6_max.jpg

It should tell you a file already exists and do you want to overwrite it select YES. if it wont let you overwrite for some reason delete the file table_ipn_6_max.jpg first and then save the image as that name.

Then in the Layout Manager screen on PAHUD goto File and import and import the miniview.pah file attached, youll need to unzip it first to your documents or wherever you save files to.

Then select ipoker and 6max from the dropdown menus if its not already selected. You may need to restart PAHUD after updating the image for it to take effect actually you will need to.

And that should be it. Might be a bit too much stats for most people but you can always edit it.

b.t.w the flop, turn and river cards are fine size but is there anyway to improve the size of the hole cards???

The program roadsweeper is talking about is www.ibolide.com
It doesn't enlarge the cards but you can change the cards, tables and fonts and colours.... I'll print some screenshots when i'm playing next

This is my new layout since I got that program. I also tweaked dvdfans pahud layout a little bit to tidy the stats up.

Top left table is the only one that was displaying stats when i sat to take a screenshot though. Not sure why.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,953 ✭✭✭dvdfan

its a .zip file, theres lots of programs that will unzip these files for free, boards.ie dosent allow .pah files to be uploaded so i had to save this format. If you go to download.com and type in unzip you should see alot of freeware or shareware programs that will unzip for you

Thanks for the links and that looks lovely and neat Ian cheers

Ian, can you export the PAHUD file of that layout please?

This one has far more detail.

Can you explain some of the stats for me? I think I know but would love some clarification.

Fold Continuation Bet: Is this the percentage a player will fold to my continuation bet? And is it only different from Fold to Flop Bet when taking into account preflop action?

    Attempted to Steal?

Aggression. How can I use these figures to decide my plays?

And one more, of all the stats you have in there, which would you deem the most important!?

    Thanks DVDFan

hmm, my pahud stats won't display for both seats 5 and 6 on all of my tables, all other stats are fine.. anyone have any idea what may be the problem?

using dvdfans november layout on carlos poker..

    Yes!

    peeko wrote: »

How often they will try to steal your blind...Anyone over 25% is stealing fairly light
    peeko wrote: »

Difficult one, I guess you can be suspicious if a guy with a flop aggro of 5 raises preflop and then just check/calls that he's sitting on a monster. If a guy with an AF of 0.7 comes out firing and raising you know you're beat most of the time. Their street by street aggression can be a good guide to how they play, and a good indicator of where you'll be able to build the pot against them
    peeko wrote: »

My favourite ones for summing a guy up are Won$WhenSawFlop, Went to Showdown and Won$atShowdown.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,894 ✭✭✭✭phantom_lord

This is my one, top combined stats 3 is just the std 4, combined 2 is aggression by street and aggression frequency, combined 1 is fold blinds to steal, fold to c-bet, fold to turn, river bet.

The rest are what they say, cb%, attempt to steal, raise flop, went to sd, won@sd, w$wsf.

    fair play to you Zutroy....

when you mention you use these to sum up a guy.... can you give a few examples?

    thanks.

    Won$WhenSawFlop

This one i never use, anyone want to eleborate.

For example when i use Won At SD %

if someone has less than 35% over a decent sample i assume there bluffing/overvalue a wide range of hands/calling station and i would value bet these people alot and consider calling all in with hands i normally wouldnt like TP and sometimes worse depending also on aggression and the board and their betting tendencies.

Someone in the 35-40% bracket i would still assume the same but i would be a little more careful, 40-47% probably overvalue some hands like 77 on 6 high, or QQ on A high board and cant drop it etc etc and anything above that i give respect to and if there raising especially if they have a low aggression factor im looking for a big hand to continue.

So how do you use Won$WhenSawFlop?

Also does anyone have the reload script for ipoker?

Anyone find that it doesn't work on ipoker tables with screwy names like "Crown Point[]" on the window?

I don't know where you're finding people with W$SD<35%. That's truly awful IMO. I would say that anyone <50% is getting into fishy territory, as a very general rule.. I think you need to use went to showdown, won at showdown at VP$IP to get a useful absolute read. For example, I play horribly nitty, (something I'm working on changing) with low Vp$IP, WSD over 30%, WonSD generally over 60%. Now you could look at someone in a vacuum who has a WSD of 30% and think they're a muppet that'll call down with anything, but with the likes of me who only plays AA preflop (lol) obviously they're going to have a high WSD and W$SD. So the true donkey has a VPIP, high WSD and low W$SD.
On to W$WSF: I think this is a much more wrapped up statistic which is independent of other factors. Naturally, if a guy has a high W$WSF (>40% maybe) you know that he knows what he's doing, independent of whether he's tight or loose, though you could refer to his VP$IP as see that if he's loose and has a high W$WSF, he's a truly excellent post flop player. Something like the way Gus Hansen is billed. So I basically use it as a 'Does this guy know what he's doing?' quick reference.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,894 ✭✭✭✭phantom_lord

    w$wsf% X vpip = skill

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,953 ✭✭✭dvdfan

Cheers Zuutroy so its basically hes post flop ability, theres not plenty but usually a few below 35% won at SD%, i had 3 on my last scan at 100nl, 1 over 400 hands and 2 around the 150 hands mark, theres obviously alot more but the sample is too small to be credible.

My won at SD% IS Usually around the 49-52% or so over a decent sample, yours is obvioulsy higher because as you said your playing alot of premium hands so its a good point that you need to use it in conjunction with other stats to get an overall view. Ive always noticed some people with 60%+ won at SD% and presumed they were never calling down without a big hand and gave them alot of respect but maybe i should be looking at their V$PIP aswell in these scenarios.

Ok new updated neater ipoker mini view available using the combined stats option, also now the Menu in top right is no longer blocked and the player notes and bet amounts are also no longer blocked. To change any of the combined stats you need to click combined stats 1,2,3 or 4 from the stat box in Layout Manager, then to the right of that under the font section there is a configure button and from in there you can add or delete 3-4 alternative stats.

Mac tested this and for some reason even though it fits perfect on my miniview some of the stats are overlapping for him so you might need to slightly adjust things or reduce font size to suit.

    Stats are as follows:
    Combined 1:
    V$PIP/PFR/TA
    Combined 2:
    Went to SD/Won at SD/Hands
    Combined 3:
    Att Steal/cbets/Folds Cbet/Folds BB
    Combined 4:
Flop Agg/ Trn Agg/ Rvr Agg

    Stats positions:
Top Left seat and Bottom Left seats stats are displayed top left and bottom left of the screen above the chat box, and same for Top right and Bottom Right on the opposite side. The Top Middle seat stats are displayed above the 3 players at the top, the Bottom middle seat is displayed under the 3 bottom seats just above the fold/call buttons but the comined 4 stats are slightly away from the other 3 combined stats just above the bottom right corner, this is because it was blocking the box where you type your bet amount.

Also your stats are displayed just below that in the bottom right corner, these stats are:

    V$PIP - PFR
    TAgg - Hands
Att Steal - Went to SD

And the table averages of V$PIP AND PFR are displayed just above the chat box.

    Enjoy

Started off as €20 but after you enter your card details etc then a vat charge appears and a web service charge and it costed €28 in total, dont ask me what a web service charge or whatever it was called was for but still worth it all the same. You should have it up and running in 1-2mins its very very simple.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 56 ✭✭Funkymonk83

Its €20 plus VAT so €24.20. There are two options which you can untick if you want. the first is for a copy on disk, €7.95 or thereabouts, and the second which dvdfan must have taken was for them to keep your registration code on file in case you need it again, this is €3.95 i think.

I just started using dvdfan's most recent layout, thanks for sharing it.

I have a problem with it doesn't seem to work on turbo tables. This was not a problem when I used fullscreen and I see one of Ian's screenshots shows it working perfectly in miniview. Does anyone have an idea why this might be happening?
