    Is it being televised?

Obvious SA will win well but not by that much, 45 maybe. I'll probably be proven very wrong tommorrow. Hopefully it'll be a good game anyway and not a battle at bayonne type one.

What kind of lineup are SA putting out ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,335 ✭✭✭smackbunnybaby

bit of a second string really.

    The Springbok team for Tuesday

    15 JP Pietersen
    14 Akona Ndungane
    13 Jaque Fourie
    12 Butch James
    11 Ashwin Willemse
    10 Ruan Pienaar
    9 Ricky Januarie
    8 Bob Skinstad (C)
    7 Danie Rossouw
    6 Wikus van Heerden
    5 Albert van den Berg
    4 Johann Muller
    3 BJ Botha
    2 Bismarck du Plessis
    1 Gurthro Steenkamp

    Bench:

    16 Gary Botha
    17 CJ van der Linde
    18 Bakkies Botha
    19 Jacques Cronjé
    20 André Pretorius
    21 Waylon Murray
    22 Bryan Habana

Interesting to see Pienaar at out half, forced conversion? ('scuse the pun)

Still reckon the 'Boks are the guys in the long grass this world cup. Given what's happening down there at the moment its their last chance for a long long time...

Look at their pack, man mountains, Munster on steroids.

Selected VS Connacht still a strong team, would reckon a rout.

Habana on the bench... should give a hint as to where the game will be.

Looks like this has been snapped up... in to 4/5 now...

Connacht 0 - 3 SA coming up to HT.

A good display by Connacht though.
Now, how do we go about signing up a few of the Saffries.:D

Well fair play to Connacht i dont think anyone was given them a chance of hell of evening holding the Boks past 80! I can imagine the amount of money the bookies have just stolen now! Great game great commitment! Shows you what any team can do if they put their heart to it

    Connacht 3 - SA 18

    Great team effort from Connacht.

Connacht were unlucky not to get a try there near the end. Good game, Connacht will be happy they didn't get a hammering i guess. A bit more self belief and they could have had SA in loads of trouble. Hope they qualify for the Heine next year.

Lots of overtime in the next few months for me :(

Good work by Connacht.. sounds like 18-3 was a little flattering for SA..

SA weren't making any real effort, they are a lot better then we seen tonight, but fair play to Connacht... Johnny OC was excellent when he came on.

Sounds deadly, but it's not, I think it was some wildlife preservation gimmick.

Andy Dunne moved from Leinster :)

Delighted for Conn - fair dues!!!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,699 ✭✭✭Santa Claus

Dunne was great on the rare occasions when he got game time with Leinster and I've seen him play several times with Belvedere. He's benefited a lot from the coaching/understudying Felipe he got in Leinster and will be an asset for Connacht (and may learn a fair bit from Elwood).

Even though I'm a leinster fan myself I'd really love to see Connacht do well considering they always seem to get shafted by the IRFU (even jake whyte had a little dig at the underfunding of connacht in the post match interview)!

Tremendous result from Connaught. Perfect pre-RWC match for the Saffies, unlike our own debacle!
