Elbow pain

Have this pain in my right elbow that I've only noticed recently. It's fine when I'm lifting weights, but if I stretch it out to my right side while holding something relatively light in my right hand, it begins to hurt be quite a bit.

Could it be related to how I'm benching (i.e., form)?

    Thanks.

    Could be the bench.

Are you doing any form of extenstions for your triceps?

Lying, standing, dumbbell, straight bar, EZ bar??

Sounds similar to what i had. Any time i would bench, esp B/Bell bench or do dips etc i felt major pain on the inside of my left elbow and even when stretching it became sore. By far the pressing movement on the bench was the worst. A deep massage on the arm to loosen up any knots and rest is the only way to go.

Only exercises I perform at the moment are bench, dumbbell rows, barbell shrugs, and some bodyweight exercises focusing mainly on press ups (hands form a triangle directly under my chest when I'm near the ground). Adding more execises in the near future, but there the ones I do mostly for the moment (3 times a week too I must add).

If I was a betting man I'd lay a lot of money down on that being your cause.

If you do have pain near the inside of the elbow as Kwalsh described then pleae don't just ignore it and hope it will go away. I tore my tricep about 2 weeks ago in that exact spot cos I tried to gut it out.

I had similar pain in both elbows a few years ago. Ended up getting cortisone injections in both as they got so bad, Injections didnt seem to help at all so i rested for a few months and went back and only did exercises that didnt aggrevate the tendon. Do lots of stretching and strengthening work for this condidtion (thinks its either golders or tennis elbow, google it),massages/cross frictions ,ice /heat may help too. After several months back the pain went and could train pain free. Still get odd pain but just keep good form etc.
