Could this guy really do this in 14 weeks?

hmm, I would say that it may be possible. However this would only be possible due to the sever eating disorder that he seemed to have, so there could of been a massive anabolic kick back and a good bit of muscle memory involved in it.
So the rate at which he would gain mass from this point on would probably slow down quite a bit

His arms went from 9 inches to 12.5. That is to say, bone to mildly fleshy. I would imagine this is since he started eating.

And when you condsider the advantageous camera angle, lighting and tan then yes he could have "transformed".

I actually think he looks great and would be very happy to look like that. I probably look similiar to the way he looked before. Seriously!

If anyone has a chance they might take a look at my thread here about starting bodybuilding and comment. Cheers. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055133710

I'm wondering now whether I should follow his training programme as I am similar to him or use the "Starting Strength" programme. Any help is much appreciated.

Use the starting strength program, it's done up by a respected lifter and coach, not a teenager.

I commend the guy on overcoming his eating disorder(s) and changing his lifestyle but I don't think he looks great at all.

If you like his physique then fair enough but it really shouldn't take very long at all to grow that amount of muscle, what will you do when you get there, maintain for the rest of your life?

    Ah, I lol'd :D

OP yes this "transformation" is quite possible in 14 weeks, mostly due to the fact that he's actually eating and lifting stuff. In fact the actual lifts he's doing are probably quite irrelevant, but the fact that he's combining it with decent nutrition. And, like jsb says, having been starving himself, his body would be undergoing a hormonal kickback that would maximise muscle growth if he ate properly.

Like trib said, follow the Starting Strength program - it's tried and tested for a lot of people. This guys' workout is tried and tested for him, but his diet is responsible for his... um, "size" and not his lifting.

If it's your goal to look like this, then yes, it's highly attainable in a short amount of time. Personally I'd classify that look as "skinny", but I know that's a very desirable look for a lot of blokes out there who covet fooballers' physiques and such. I don't get it
