i was wondering is swimming a good idea if im trying to gain weight/muscle. i know it burns calories but it tones all of your body. is it a good idea to have swimming in with my workout routine or should i just stick to weight. im quite skinny and im just not sure if the swimming is a barrier for trying to gain weight.

swimming is a great way to get fit but it does burn alot of calories that could be used instead for building muscle i suppose. if your sole aim is to bulk up then swimming probably won't help it but it will definitely get you fitter/healthier in the mean time
