Ingest less calories than you epend. Simple as that.

You do not need to do any training to get a 6pack, I know guys who just dont eat much and have one, totally unfit.

If you want a more defined one then weighted squats would probably help a lot more than situps.

By diet i mean what you eat regularly not "on a diet" if ya get me.

You eat a lot of carbs and not much protein. Have a read of the stickies and get an idea of how to structure your diet for fat loss.

If you read the stickies at the top of the forum page they'll answer a lot of these basic questions. If you're trying to drop fat, you should be careful with your carb intake and sources of them.

    Silly statement here.

I know some guys who eat junk all day, do no exercise and have a 6 pack.

However this is due to genetics and having a rapid metabolism. Long term this is not healthy and living this way will eventually catch up with them.

It's a silly statement which you then go on to agree with...?

I disagree with the statement, i think you do need to train hard for a 6 pack.

Im saying i know lads too who do nothing yet they have one which i put down to genetics and quick metabolism.

The original poster is looking to get a 6 pack but the quote "You do not need to do any training to get a 6pack" should not be taken on board here if you do not have one already.

    Is that clearer?
