no sh!t. when you go to book the chepest option is the online check in or priority book-in and you cant progress unless you pick an option.

How does a 1p each way flight turn into 80 sterling in taxes and charges (without baggage).??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,191 ✭✭✭The_Hustler

You have to click the one cent flights with reg fare written in blue to avail of the offer.

It says on the site which destinations are included, you pick Ireland in the top right corner and then look at the Dublin routes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,632 ✭✭✭✭okidoki987

Booked some day return Saturday flights Dublin to London for €10 including taxes, as they were going out at 8am, still a bargain. :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 228 ✭✭emul

    You need to ensure you

    a. check in 0 bags
    b. click remove from priority boarding
    c. in country of residence change Ireland to don't need travel insurance (from Ryanair anyway)

That's how you get 1c flights!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,585 ✭✭✭honru

Cheers Ruu, just got free return flights to both Birmingham and Manchester.

I'm getting error pages about server loads when trying to book the same two sets of flights...over and over...anyone else getting this????

edit- never mind, worked fine with my mastercard, gave a false error with my gf's UK Maestro card....hmmmm the latter was free to use, the mastercard netted Ryanair 12 euros, fishy stuff me thinks!

Change the country in the top left corner to Ireland and you'll see the dublin offers.

How can they afford to do that ?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,473 ✭✭✭✭Our man in Havana

Seems the party is now over. Cheapest flights are now €10 + usual extras. :(

That must have been the shortest 24 hours ever.

Perhaps they flag IP addresses that book a load of them and block them from ordering more.

I'd say quite a few people order a load with no real intention of using them. I can see Ryanair putting a stop to these offers for that reason.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,473 ✭✭✭✭Our man in Havana

There must be hundreds of people sharing the same IP addy (3 broadband uses the same ip for everyone). Doubt they could stop it on that basis.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,723 ✭✭✭kmb

Was looking at this today with a friend and no matter what we did even though the flights were 1cent taxes etc. made it up to €40.

Are ye guys not paying the taxes or whatever?

Or am i doing something wrong?
