Is this going to put onto pc no? I don't think it is, I just dont want to shell out loads of money on a ps3..

I know its coming out on xbox360, but I want to get MGS4 aswell and that aint coming out for xbox and its a long time to release yet so prices will have fallen..

trade in your xbox and get ps3 its simple, i did it with my ps2 and 28 games and got the ps3 in gamestop for €380 and believe me was well worth the trade

Won't be shelling out for a console just for it, will wait for the PC version, far better. :)

How much will you have to shell out on your PC to run it though?

Set in present day, Liberty City, you play as eastern european immigrant Nico Bellic. Google it or check wikipedia

Same here, just as I've always done.
If the last few GTAs are anything to go by; the PC ports tend to come out the following June.

    /looks forward to mid-2008 :/

They generally do tend to have better graphics though. (Not so sure about GTAIV but the others ones have had enhanced drawing distances etc).

Damn all I'm hoping, it is just recently built. If I were to buy a console, all it would be good for is gathering dust. :)

Yeah absolutely without exception (so far)... I run GTA:SA at 1680x1050, how many Playstation2s can say that eh? ;)
I find the GTA3+ games were released quite late on into the consoles life though... released at a time where a decent gaming PC would mop the floor with said console... the difference widening even further due to the delayed PC release.

The xbox360 is a bit of a mean machine though, and from the little I know of the PS3, that's even better still... it's a much closer call now between consoles and PC than it was when GTA:SA hit the PS2.
But I don't think GTA4 looks so 'next-gen' that it'll floor even my current PC.
    /bovered

PC version usually comes out 6 months later, as they have to make the levels harder, increase the enemies AI, make the maps bigger, more stuff to blow up/kill/drive/fly/mash/etc.

change the controlling system between control pad and keyboard and mouse as well.

It'll come out on PC, but at there own timescale. I believe and hope however that some form of online multiplayer will be included.

But you don't have to pay 50 quid a year for as long as you use it (about 5 years?) for online play. And you don't have to pay 100 quid for an adaptor if you want to connect to a wireless network. And you don't have to pay for batteries for your joypads. And you don't have to pay as much for downloadable games. And retail games are region free so you don't have to pay as much for them if you know where to look. And you don't have to pay 150 quid for an add on drive if you ever want to watch a high def movie. And you don't have to put up with a console that constantly breaks down and have to pay for repairs if it's not the red ring issue(and it isn't always, I've had a couple break for other reasons)

Microsoft have this nickel and dime business down to a tee.

    thank christ for that.

It's what pissed me off about SA, it was just too big, and couple that with a story line that just irked me, i just got bored .

i hated the way they advertise these GTA games as do anything you absolutely want, when you can't do absolutely everything.

i'm looking forward to IV as it seems to bring back the same style as GTA:III/VC where the city isn't as big but at least you'll know where you're going.

What problem does the red ring indicate anyway... never happened to me.

I read that it will be a similar size to San Andreas. A pretty large city that will take you a while to get around.

PlayStation Magizine says to get from one side of the city to another takes an hour! Even if it's apparently 3/4 the size of San Andreas, cause its more detailed.

not an expert on consoles but i'd imagine the red ring indicates that your 360 has bricked itself.

When you get the red ring of death your xbox has died and you will not be able to play GTA4 on it.
