As great a resource as this site is I was wondering what other good Irish forums that Boardsies use?

P45rant.net Im aware of, what others are there? I ask as a post I put up mentioning a certain festival was locked which is fair enough as Ive since learned there's a legal issue there.

So apart from the brilliant Boards what other Irish forums do you frequent?

There is another *ahem* site with a similar URL to boards.ie but I don't use it. It will jog the memories for some of us here. :) The only other one in my signature setup by a boards member, I use that one every once in a while.

Ah would you g'way. If I was to waste as much time elsewhere as I do here I'd literally have no life. <--- /me realises how sad and pathetic I have become.

I cut my teeth on Blast, eons ago. Went back a few months ago and realised however much of a tit I am now, I was a much bigger tit then.

If you mean Redbrick I think having Bertie as a member ruined both the exclusivity and the general quality of members in one go...:p

I'm still listed as top poster on the memberlist. Followed in quick succession by Jay and Maeve. (You can check it through the Revs message board, the old board, which was part of Blast is still there as a graveyard.) I posted the most unreal load of rubbish there while I was doing my leaving cert. I miss that place! I actually got my first place to live in Dublin through Blast!

Cool man! When were ya on it? Most of posts were of this funny picture of Gary Glitter, but I didn't know who he was and I just thought he looked funny. I was fookin' shocked when I found out about him!

I frequent a lot of forums

Thumped i take a look at but i find the community to be sometimes like a pack of wolves waiting to feed on fresh meat

CPU.ie is a good site, the forum never really got going

Since i own goldenplec.com i can really qualify that but then i do spend time on it

Hotpress.com im a member of so i occasionally look into the forums

Bebo obviously gets frequented but its not irish inherently but obviously has a giant irish contingent

i used to read cluas.com but not anymore

There has been a raft of irish music sites that ive seen open and close rediculously fast, good intentions but not follow through i guess

    politics.ie is fairly popular site

i too would also peruse the electric picnic forums but not as much anymore

i think thats all the irish site's i would go on

Holy crap that site is scary as hell, I read 2 threads and promptly hit the close window button.....women really are mental

Yeah, though they don't seem as harsh as they used to be. Maybe it's cause I'm reading it less or there are less people joining.
i used to read cluas.com but not anymore

Me too. Don't know why I stopped. Think the threads became repetitive.

SomethingAwful forums are great, though you don't have to register to read anymore, which is what I mostly do there.

Hmm... sounds like a good site to give the url to, if nothing else it sounds like it will educate on that topic far faster than life does.;)
