    There is no confusion what so ever.

    drop the fat first - simple really, will you be as strong as you would be if you focused on the big three lifts? Possibly no - will you now become slimmer and drop body fat, yes, as long as you stay off the starchy carbs i.e. bread, rice, cereals, pasta and potatoes and junk food.

    Just move between any 2 exercises quickly for about 4 sets and pick 4 sets of 2 different exercises. All done in 40mins (not including stretching and core work).

    train the way you want to look
